This Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo Bake is a creamy, cheesy, and comforting casserole packed with tender chicken, crisp broccoli, and pasta tossed in a rich Alfredo sauce. It’s a perfect weeknight dinner that’s easy to make and sure to be a family favorite.

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large head of broccoli, cut into florets (about 4 cups)
- 1 (16-ounce) jar Alfredo sauce (or homemade, see Tips & Tricks)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 cups cooked pasta (penne, rotini, or your favorite)
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Season chicken cubes with salt and pepper.
- Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add broccoli florets and cook for 3-5 minutes, until slightly tender-crisp. You may need to add a tablespoon or two of water to help steam the broccoli.
- In a large bowl, combine Alfredo sauce, cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, milk, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Add cooked pasta, cooked chicken, and broccoli to the bowl with the Alfredo sauce mixture. Stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
